From Apr 1 to August 6, 2018, there have been $1,787,815,494 in Contracts signed with a combined Cap Hit of $594,332,832, excluding Entry Level deals.  These include both contracts starting July 1, 2018 and extensions beginning July 1, 2019.  

Of the $1.8 Billion in Contracts, 6 teams (Tampa Bay, San Jose, Washington, LA, Arizona & Anaheim) made up 41% ($739M) and each signed Total Contracts in excess of $99 Million.  

The busiest teams were Vegas, Pittsburgh & Dallas each with 16 signings, followed by Calgary, NY Islanders & St. Louis with 15.

The average for a team was $58M in Total Contracts, $19M in Cap Hit, and 11 signings. 

The lowest spending teams were Florida ($9.625M Total and $7.0M Cap Hit), New Jersey ($12.7M Total and $8.4M Cap Hit) and Chicago ($13.65M Total and $9.15M Cap Hit).
