Protected Picks

A "Top 10 Protected" pick means that if the pick ends up being a pick in the Top 10, the pick does not transfer. The pick condition would outline what other pick transfers instead. Typically if a pick is top protected and the pick does not transfer that year, the pick will transfer in a subsequent year.  Tampa's pick was not in the top 10, so the pick transfers to Chicago.
